Captain David Shores has been sailing since 1996. He has sailed on Lake Harriet in Minneapolis, on White Bear Lake, and on Lake Superior for several years each. He has been teaching on White Bear Lake since 2000, and has raced with the Black Bear Yacht Racing Association since 2004. He has been involved in charter trips to the British Virgin Islands, Chesapeake Bay, and the Apostle Islands since 2001. Dave obtained his Coast Guard license in early 2007 and has since been teaching ASA courses on Lake Superior.
